How We Make Money

Builder Tools has a free tier — 6 everyday tools you can use without an account — and a Pro subscription (£9/month) that unlocks every tool, cloud-saved quotes and invoices, and AI documents. On top of that, some of our pages contain affiliate links to third-party retailers and suppliers, which help keep the free tier free.

What Are Affiliate Links?

When you click a link to a product or supplier on our Site and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. This happens through affiliate networks (such as Awin) that track referrals using cookies. This costs you nothing extra — you pay the same price whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer.

Where You'll Find Affiliate Links

• Deals page: Our Deals page features offers and discounts from construction suppliers and merchants. Many of these links are affiliate links.
• Calculator tool pages: Some calculators include "Order Materials" or "Buy Online" links to relevant suppliers (e.g. a concrete calculator linking to cement suppliers, a turf calculator linking to turf suppliers). These are affiliate links.
• Blog posts: Occasionally, blog articles may link to products or services that are relevant to the topic. These may be affiliate links.

Our Promise

• We only link to products and suppliers that are relevant to UK builders and tradespeople
• Affiliate relationships do not influence which tools we build or how our calculators work — the tools serve you first
• We will always clearly indicate when a page contains affiliate links
• We will never recommend a product solely because of an affiliate commission

Affiliate Networks We Use

We may participate in affiliate programmes including but not limited to:

• Awin (affiliate tracking network)
• Direct partnerships with UK construction suppliers

These networks may set cookies on your device when you click an affiliate link. See our Privacy Policy for details on cookies.
